KAMARANTHO

When tradition meets knowledge

The vineyard of KAMARANTHOS is multi-varietal. It consists of the local varieties Monemvasia, Mandilaria, Roditis and Savvatiano. It is protected by a windbreak made of wicker wood and does not creep as is common in the Cyclades but is raised with auxiliary stakes.

Contrary to what usually happens, Souma KAMARANTHO is a double-distilled product, an important element for its quality and safe consumption.

The distillation takes place every year in late October to early November at the traditional “Rakidio tou Katsagrilas” in Naoussa with the care and knowledge of local producer Giorgos Arkoulis, alongside a grand celebration as custom dictates.

KAMARANTHO souma is available at the Estate and in selected stores. Like olive oil, it runs out before the end of the tourist season.
