Silver Quality Award at the Berlin International Olive Oil Competition – 2026

Silver Quality Award at the Berlin International Olive Oil Competition – 2026

The olive oil produced by Kamarantho Organic Estate, in a particularly challenging year for olive cultivation, was awarded the Silver Quality Medal in the category “Organic Olive Oil – High Polyphenols” at the Berlin International Olive Oil Competition 2026.

We are especially pleased to announce that, at this year’s Berlin Olive Oil Competition, our organic olive oil KAMARANTHO achieved the prestigious distinction of the Silver Quality Award, despite the adverse climatic conditions we faced during the 2025 growing season. The award was granted in the Organic Olive Oil – High Polyphenols category, in which our product competed.
We feel both honored and responsible, as our product is the first olive oil from Paros to receive recognition in a major international quality competition over the past six years. This distinction was achieved among outstanding olive oils from 34 olive-producing countries, 448 producers, and 850 competing olive oils.

KAMARANTHO Olive Oil is produced from organically cultivated Koroneiki variety olives grown at the KAMARANTHO Farm in the village of Kamari, Paros. The olives are processed at the Certified Organic Olive Mill of Kamari, while bottling and packaging are carried out by the Certified Organic Laboratory ENERGAEA in Koropi, Attica.

This year’s award-winning olive oil has an acidity level of 0.24% and a polyphenol content of 501 mg/kg.
